Is Vodafone Egypt accused of conspiracy with the muppet terrorist Abla Fahita?

Recently, Vodafone Egypt released an ad on youtube featuring the famous Egyptian puppet, Abla Fahita. Some had seen the ad hilarious, others had seen it mediocre and simply informative, but Ahmed Spider, who has engaged with local media since Jan 25th, 2011, trying to make a scoop and inform the authorities with mystical conspiracies he interpreted from somewhere or transformed a rumor into a big scene that threatens the national security of Egypt, had seen the ad unorthodox and interpreted Abla Fahita‘s phone call to a Mama Toto (in the ad) to be an encrypted message informing Muslim Brotherhood about a major terror act in one of the malls (Spider alleged to know which mall is it!) but he refused to give further detail to media. Anyway, Abla Fahita is an Egyptian muppet comedy youtube video-series since 2010. Funny, no?

Ahmed Spider

On CBC, a live engagement with Abla Fahita (muppet-ally!) and Ahmed Spider hosted by Khairy Ramadan to understand more about the mess that no one seems to comprehend. The 30 minutes engagements included vows from Spider to put Abla Fahita in jail and accused her to be a part of The British Intelligence Agency (MI6) then Abla Fahita had made a strong statement about media nowadays on how they keep the minds of Egyptians empty and directed nowhere, by people like Spider plucking meanings out of her tweets and wasting everyone’s time while the world is advancing in technology and other fields.

The prosecutors have questioned officials in Vodafone Egypt and all the accusations were denied, in addition, to the lack of evidence and that the accusations are mere opinions of one of the audience, thus it can’t be taken seriously against the company, its officials or the marketing team that was working on the company’s product “how to reactivate their clients’ lost/forgotten sim cards.”

Is Egypt on a panic attack due to the recent series of events or is it a scene to affect the company’s reliability in the telecommunication market in Egypt? Maybe both?! What do you think?
